Escamando

Death is the theme that inspires the creation of the piece. With autobiographical references, the dancers use theirs experiences to bring the ambivalence of death and rebirth on stage. With the symbolism of Bumba-meu-boi present, the work mixes references from popular culture of Maranhão and contemporary dance to cultivate pauses and physical vigor moments to compose a poetic density.
